What does Memorial Day mean to you?

The question each and every American needs to ask themselves this holiday weekend is, what does the observance Memorial day mean to me?

As you step outside into your deck or patio to soak up the sun, fire up the grill and put your favorite foods under a roaring controlled flame, or sit poolside with your friends drinking a cold Corona Light with a sliver of crisp lime, remember the reason this is all possible! This is ONLY possible because of those who courageously fought and possibly gave their lives so you could be afforded the freedom to do these things in the land of the free without looking over your shoulder for an enemy plotting to take your freedom or life that very instant.

Unfortunately, but often, many people get caught up in the hype of planning events, barbecues, and get together’s over this weekend without remembering the true reasons officially observe this day/ weekend. In my opinion, we should remember the reasons we are free everyday, and honor those who fought for our freedom, with every breath we take.

More importantly, ask yourself what you will be doing this weekend to honor those brave men or women who gave their lives to fight for the free life you live? What will you do to honor those who are actively serving right now who a giving their services to you while you breath that free air you do every day?

Some suggestions I have for you may include, but are lot limited to:
- Hanging and American Flag proudly.
- Visiting a cemetery and thanking someone who lost their life in battle for America, whether you know them or not!
- Thank and active servicemen of the Military today.

Remember Memorial Day isn’t about getting the best deal on a Honda Accord, saving hundreds of dollars on a flat screen TV this weekend, or watching Snooki and the Situation act like fools on MTV’s Jersey Shore, it’s about recognizing who America is, how she came about, and honoring those who made it possible.

Holy War waged on America by RADICAL Muslims is still alive and well!

Another attempt to devastate America by a Muslim terrorist has been stopped in the 11th hour. A teenage U.S naturalized Muslim American, turned terrorist was arrested today in Portland Oregon for organizing and elaborate plan to detonate a van full of explosives at a crowded Christmas tree lighting.

19-year-old Mohamed Osman Mohamud, believed he was exercising his Muslim right of Jihad, which is contained in the Quran, to wage Holy war on America. Mohamed was in close communication with associates in Pakistan with hopes they would guide him to the proper application of Jihad in this hideous act. But government and local authorities rushed to foil the Muslim terrorists plot.

When questioned about his plot, he informed the F.B.I that he chose Oregon for the place of devastation over N.Y.C because security is more relaxed outside NY.

We happen to have a major problem here. Terrorism is alive and well right here in America. Radical Muslims will not relent. As a former NYC Police officer, Firefighter, and , 9/11 first responder ,I believe we are in more danger today than in the past. We have indeed dodged another bullet today.

This Muslim terror plot unfolded amidst the request for a 5 Million dollar by the Ground Zero Mosque developers of the Park 51 project, also known as the Cordoba House.

It has been confirmed that Developer and bank roller behind the Mosque, Hisham Elzanaty has donated to terror organizations in 1999. He has since denied any knowledge of terror that existed in the Holy Land Foundation who later was convicted for funding Hamas, and was later dubbed America’s largest convicted terror group.

America, we need to read the writing on the wall!

Should those who DONATE to Terror be awarded grant money to build the Ground Zero Mosque?

If you donate to terror organizations aren’t you a terrorist? That’s what I believe, but apparently the Lower Manhattan Development Group responsible for shelling out taxpayer grant money to re-develop lower Manhattan does not feel the same way. Hashem El Zanaty, the Egyptian born bank roller behind the Ground Zero Mosque donated to the Holy Land Foundation in 1999, this organization was later convicted of funding terror by th U.S government and shut down for its deep terror ties.

Since his 1999 donation to the Holy Land foundation, the United States of America experienced the worst terrorist attack in history on September 11, 2001. The loss of life and devastation in lower Manhattan was incomprehensible.

The Ground Zero Mosque, also known as Park 51, has been at the epicenter of divide in NYC as well as amongst Americans nationwide. The proposed construction of this 140 million dollar Mosque has opened the wounds of many 9/11 family members, survivors, and victims alike, and has significantly impeded the recovery of thousands of family members.

This week, we have been told that Park 51 has applied for a 5 million dollar grant from the Lower Manhattan re-development group. This is a disgrace.

If the sketchy, Radical, and secretive people behind the Mosque donated to terror in the past, aren’t they indeed Terrorists?

Not every Muslim is a terrorist, clearly. But on 9/11/01, every terrorist was a MUSLIM! And we can’t forget they were exercising the Doctrine of Jihad, provided by the Islamic faith, as they waged a HOLY WAR against the United States.

America, we need to read the writing on the wall!

Wife of Ground Zero Mosque Imam Fiesel Abdul Rauf, Daisy Kahn is a Radical

Daisy Kahn, the wife of Imam Rauf is a RADICAL just as he is. On numerous occasions she has said,” We need to build this Mosque at Ground Zero to ensure the safety of America.” Her husband, Radical Imam Rauf has told the people of America that,” The extremist’s abroad are watching the Mosque debate very closely.” Also, he has told Americans,” America has more muslim blood on their hands nation wide, than does Al Qaeda non muslim blood worldwide.” He and his wife are practicing Radical Islam in America!

I also do not appreciate her body language while others rightfully challenge her Radical views that she claims are moderate. They are anything but moderate. I will make this statement now, ” The Mosque will never be built.”

The leadership behind the Ground Zero mosque, Imam Fisel Abdul Rauf claims to be moderate, he claims to be peaceful, and claims to be a bridge builder! My fellow New Yorkers , and Americans, he is a red herring, the bridges he claims to build, do appear to be sound in their construction, however, IED’S are strapped to them hidden deep, where most cannot see, waiting to explode. His funders behind the mosque at 51 Park Place NYC, at Ground Zero, are sleeper cells. Hisham El- Zanaty, Egyptian born muslim has contributed to organizations in 1999 that funded terrorists, If you fund terror, you are a terrorist, PERIOD. You are the company you keep! The group is anything but pure, the true example of a RED HERRING, they are terrorists.
